It's a lot more convenient and in some ways I prefer it, but do you think it might take the focus away from the forum? Facebook groups tend to be worse-organised than forums for looking up old stuff, so maybe just hang out there and post useful stuff here once we've figured it out?

I totally agree with you that the Linear nature of Facebook means that you cannot search out valuable info and the risk of missing stuff is very high... guess that is part of what makes it so addictive. Anyway, I think the Facebook page is a resounding success, we have 50 plus members in as many days and growing It is so easy to post pics there compared to here with restrictions like having to use an off site host for the pics. I would like to mention to everyone else who has not become a member and would like to.... if you post here in this thread and I'm still asleep at the switch, know that anyone who is a member can also make you a member.

Maybe important posts with valuable info, diagrams etc could be ported here in a specific forum subsection? BTW.. Wich wait? It was less than a day..

Just reviving this thread to bring attention to the wildly successful Face book page by the same name as this Forum. 2700+ Members now and still growing every day. While FB is not a great resource for being able to answer all of the very commonly asked questions about all of the things that are normally needing attention on these great cars. It is a great place to hang out and meet everyone, I think we should all be using both platforms as they both have usefulness .. ..
