Hello, I am new to the forum, my name is steve and I am from New Zealand. I just bought my 1st Justy, a 1985 4WD RS (the one in my avatar). The previous owner told me the wheel alignment is a bit off but if I look at the two strut rods, it is a bit more than just a bit off. Should these strut rods be straight, or do they have a little curve like the upper one in my picture ? Thank you all for your help, I am sure I will have more questions, I just started... cheers, steve

If mine is any indicator... They have a slight bend for correct castor. I might have used a BHF to incite more castor for more stability... Oh and maybe to make up for a slight chassis shortening incident. The point is I believe they were bent from the factory. BUT NOT AS MUCH as the lower one in your first pic!!!!! The upper one (in the first pic) looks right. Edit... Put them back on, measure wheel base, correct length with BFH until you have desired wheel base (this assumes the rear wheels are still where they are supposed to be

Thanks for your answer Matt. I will put them back in as they are now and then use a BFH to get the slight bend at the right spot back into the rod.
What is the correct wheel base anyway ? (yes, rear wheels are both ok)
cheers, steve
