So I have wrote to santa for universal central locking system set for my comming '92 5-door... And the problem is there is no wires going into side doors in stock. I brought 4 cheap flexible "hoses" for Škoda Felicia it has one rounded end and oval end on other side... It is a 4 door set but I have some used spare one at home and I will put it in trunk door. I would like to see where exactly do other people pull the wires in doors. I know there is a hole in A pillar around 22mm too I think front quater panel must go away to get to it but I hope I can use it... The installation will start at spring because it is not very comfort to work on car in winter... (Spell check doesn't work )

The Gen 2's with auto seat belts have wires going into the doors. It might be a nice reference for you.
Good luck with the install.

i installed these years ago.
two problems. one, no wire routing options. I just drilled into the chassis near the hinge where it was easy to access for me and then cut a square hole in the door using a dremmeland a cutoff wheel since its what i had. if i were gonna do it again id pull the thing that keeps the door from opening any wider and try and finagle a drill back there for a cleaner install. but its not like you can see it anyways.
second problem, door clearance. the actuators were WAY too big to fit behind the door panel without getting stuck on the panel. i wound up having to cut most of the door skin out to get enough clearance between the panel and the window. the simple solution is get a kit tht has low profile actuators. the ones that look like a garage door opener vs a pistol.

Thats exactly what i did.

So I finally get back to this thing. I find this as good position for pistol one in driver door: (I was just trying it) It needs some little bracket for the second bolt. I hope next week I will fiddle at least drivers door...
