Wanted a quick take on idea I have. I have 2 justy both 92. Bought the first a few months back and it's a 5 speed w a good amount of rust. Came across a complete auto w a shot tranny but. Good body. I could clean up rust on running 5 speed or swap tranny out. Wondering which may be most difficult. Thanks.

do a search here of the topic. its been covered many times. probably easier then rust repair. among other things, you need the rear diff to swap over too

Thanks for input. The automatics body is in great shape as the original owner undercoated it at when new. I looked at several of the other threads as well. Looks like it will be worth it in the end to have the better body. I also think the automatics engine is still in good shape so may just switch the tranny. Thanks again.

I think tranny swap is easier and wroth to do than try to fix rust...
