Hi
I bought a 1994 Subaru justy 4wd mpfi
Yesterday I installed a safc and a wideband aem uego
Today I'm building the adaptor to the turbo vf18 trying to use the same exhaust manifold
I'm using a Subaru legacy watercooler kit pump radiator and intercooler because I don wanna cut or damage any piece of the original
Anyway I have some questions Beside the fuel pressure regulator , safc and wideband what else should I have to safely put 4-6 psi
How much increase in hp and torque will I gain
How does the map work under pressure , do I need to change it ?
Will be a good idea using a oil cooler radiator?

Yeah that's from a legacy turbo 1992 I bought it whit the radiator and the electric water pump all taken from the legacy it.cost 60 USD
Today I bought the external wastegate and the new oil pan and gaskets so I keep all the original parts
I also bought an orlan rober 0-1.2 bar mechanical boost gauge ideal for the 0.6 bar I intend to charge
I will soon post new pictures

oil cooler at a minimum... What sort of shape is your motor in? What sort of oil pressure do you have? How long have you owned the car, and what do you know about the pathetic oiling system that plagues those of us who ask for more power? At least with a turbo you won't be spinning a million RPM to get it, but it will put extra load on that #1 main bearing...

The engine is in perfect shape, not any Bearing noises, or any noises at all, i have not measured the OIL pressure yet, but i changed the OIL pump recently I dis not intend to race on it or trackday it.... I just want a little push
Also didnt expect 150hp going above 100 for now is fine, i think whit 4-5 psi will do
Next week i put all together and will see what happens
Cheers

WOT at 0.6 bar 11-12 afr , the clutch is slipping in 4th gear at wot, and 5th gear
still no intercooler, no pinging, no detonation

the only problem that i really have here was the map sensor....or not the map really ...the ecu have no idea of what to do whit boost, so after hitting 0.3 bar it shut my inyectors off,...i have to use a check valve (anti return) so the map dont do any boost read. was a good solution the problem is now gone.
things i dont like...
vf18 turbo is waaaay to small, i cant do any kind of acceleration whitout boost, even when im gentle whit the pedal, some boost its created. so i now have 2 vf27 (secondary jdm legacy turbos) both new one for change and the other for spare.
today i bought 2 small intercoolers from a mitsubishi pajero jr. and other from a mitsubishi delica, both with 1 1/4 inch intake wich is the same that the turbo outlet.
i installed now a SPA TURBO dual FPR , toyota starlet turbo injectors , and thats for now..
this week i will post new videos
