Hi Since a week I've the Check Engine Light on with no other issues beside the RPM Meter not working at temperatures below 0°. I've checked the Code and found Code 33: Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or circuit. As the Vehicle speed is transmitted mechanically, I was wondering what could have been wrong with it.
The search function showed that it is a known issue but I couldn't find any solution. As we will drive in July from Switzerland to Mongolia, I wanted to have the car as neat as possible. (www.khan-fly.weebly.com)
Maybe you can also give me some advice which parts are the weakest on a 94 1.2 4WD Justy (Manual)
Thanks a lot for any advice!! Raphael

The speedometer is driven by a cable from the transmission. As the needle goes up it generates a voltage and sends it to the ECU. The ECU is saying the voltage is missing or incorrect.
Are you comfortable testing wires at the ECU with a volt meter, and removing your gauge cluster?
