I recently decided to get my 93 justy going again. One of the steps to the process (which it is basically road worthy again) was replacing lights with LED versions. I obsess over things like that so I dove in and replaced every exterior light except backup and head light with LED. I have since run into a problem. I'm assuming it's obviously wiring somewhere, but when the key is off, the headlight switch is off, I step on the brake peddle and the brake lights, front marker lights and license plate lights all light up. And then same situation but headlight switch on full. The headlights seem to try to come on as well. I repeat, key is off. Any ideas?

So you have "stock" halogen bulb in headlights and they wont light properly? I think it can be burned fuse.

I just talked to someone local and they said it was a bad ground. So I will be chasing grounds later tonight.

It's probably a single filament bulb in place of a dual filament and the brake power is back feeding to the marker light circuit.
Or a defective bulb. I would take out the dual filament bulbs in the tail lights and retest.
Also check trailer wiring if applicable.

I have a hitch on mine, and the guy before me did a terrible hatchet job with the wiring. It was causing a similar problem. Do you have one?
