You can easy check "the 4WD bulb", it is just few bolts and i think 2 clips and you do not need to disconnect combimeter. It should be easy to find out which bulb is it, when you look at the back of combimeter... Even if the bulb looks good It can have bad contact.. pull it out and put it back... Every car part dealer got this bulbs (1,2W 12V I think it is called T5). To check if 4WD is working lift one rear wheel make sure other one is on ground, shift in neutral gear, start engine press 4WD button and try if you can turn lifted wheel. If you can't 4WD should work, If you can you have problem with it... Subarus got self diagnostic connectors under dash board. Check this site: www.troublecodes.net/Subaru/ your codes should be in "1988 and later models with Multi-Point Fuel Injection (including Legacy)" part

1 Is the bulb ok? 2 Did you mean this one: ? Elring part number is 026.520 3 Mine needle usually stays in lower 1/3 or 1/4 of the temperature clock... I have changed thermostat and temperature sensor but with no change than I try to disconnect cooling fan and in 1/2 of the clock coolant starts boiling... Is your vin number JF1KD8ML0ED... ? the ML should be model year mark, so mine should be from 1992 too.

Does it run poorly? If the code 14 is right and the injector or control circuit is bad it could be setting the 41. Solve the 14 first. Solve the 24 last.

Yesterday there were only three faults shown!!!! how could I examine my injector??? Could I add an injection cleaner in the tank ?

Are you sure it was not 13? If it was 14, disconnect all spark plugs and "start" engine (to get fuel in cylinders) and than pull out spark plugs. If they are all wet or you can smell gasoline on them and all looks same, the injectors should be good I think. This is engine wiring diagram:

The code refers to the computer seeing a problem with the injector, circuit, or driver. It doesn't necessarily mean the injector is not working properly. The best course of action is to check the injector for battery voltage on the WHT/BLK wire at the connector, then unplug all 3 injectors and resistance test them all. Make sure they all match within a few Ohms. If that's all good then I would suspect a wiring issue between WHT/YEL and the computer, or a bad computer.
