so today we mounted the other strut and hung the sub frame in place the next set is where it get complicated and a bit long winded we have to get the car on flat ground make some engine mounts mount the engine to the sub frame in the car so i can get the measurements for the height to try get the engine as low as possible distance to the front cross member what the caster angle will be but ultimately where to mount the sub frame Attachments:

they (the front struts) would be very hard to adapt... the justy spindle/hub carrier uses a plug in strut... those use "ears"
not going to happen without one off machine shop work and lots of precision measurement.

Wow, what a project, a V8 in a Justy, someone must like steering from the rear! I would have thought a V6 would been ample... good work changing the suspension to coilovers, I think the car will really benfit from it. If only there were off the shelf kits, there's not even lowering springs for these cars....

If only there were off the shelf kits, there's not even lowering springs for these cars.... hi thanks for the support sadly as we all know the justy body on its own wouldn't cope well with the torque from this engine so i had to build a seprete chassis to mount everything on XD but i will try my best to keep it looking like a justy a v6 probably would have been easier but i much prefer the sound of a v8 XD all videos of the project will be posted to youtube on my channel if anyone has any suggestions or comments feel free to leave a comment i will do my best to reply thanks everyone cheers Attachments:
