Ok, the boot on my 88 4wd (front driver side) is torn to bits. So I'm going to replace the axle. I understand that its a pain in the ass job, but I think that with the info I have found here, and from reading my manual I can do it at home with out the Subaru tools (I hope). The question I have is: Are the cv axles identical on both sides? Rockauto.com says that "OMNI 5 Part # SB8010" is good for both sides. Is that true for my 88 4wd? Also I found these on amazon... Left side
Right side
$27 looks pretty good but I don't want to waste time or money. I also don't want shit parts on my car as I intend to make it my daily. If the parts I have listed here are not comparable with my Justy, will you fine folks please point me in the right direction. I need the front left (driver side) cv axle for a 88 4wd and any little parts that Ill need to complete the job.

I can't vouch for the parts, but I do know an 88 Justy will not have identical shafts. The second generation cars had equal length and therefor interchangeable shafts.
Yours will have a long and a short one..
