I don't know what it is, but I want one.
It's definitely heavily rally inspired. My guess is that it's an early promotional car from subaru, just something they take to all the auto shows to show off.
I'd be interested in a link to the website it's from, I can't seem to dig it up.

View AttachmentWow what a great find, My best guess is that it is a picture taken from a new model Manufacturers car show. From the look of the fact that all of the people seem to me to be Japanese I would think that it was in Japan. Also the steering wheel is on the right. However it is curious that all of the writing in the picture weather it is on the car, the placard announcing the "Super Justy" or on the advertisements in the back ground are all in English. I would bet that like all car company's they made a new model and presented it at a car show to test the waters before committing to make and sell something that might not go over well. Who knows how it was received in Japan, but if they had offered it in North America with a factory turbo .. .. ..
