I got a 91 justy 5 spd efi. I blew the engine last night but found a carberated one for sale. Will it work with my car? I just need the new block bit I want to make sure it'll all work together. Thanks for any help

How old is the carb motor? If it's gen 2 you should be able to swap the block to your efi motor

You need to check to see if your car has a stub shaft or not. That is, on the passenger side axel, does it go right in to the transmission or are they equal length with a small shaft that makes up the difference?
Most of the carbureted engines do not have the necessary mounting holes on the block for the stub shaft and therefor do not work as a bolt-in.
I have an EFI motor, where are you located?

Any gen 2 block should have a stub shaft right? Both my carb blocks have them.

I have seen 2nd gen cars that don't have a stub shaft, in fact I have a set of 2nd gen unequal length axles. However that doesn't mean the car wasn't equipped with the right block. I would assume all 2nd gens had the proper block.

To my knowledge there were only ever 2 versions of the block, one with mounts for the stub shaft and one without. They never changed the block for carb/efi.
