First of all, hello Secondly, I just bought myself a 1985 Justy, (KAD) 1.0 (10EF) 4x4. It has the following issues\problems: Both outer CV joints are broken. <---- Anyone know where to get new ones ? Clutch is worn. Drivers seat, left rear mount is through the floor, although not due to rust, I think there may have been a fat man in it at some time.. Alternator is broken.. But, I have a 55 amp alternator from a Opel(vauxhal) Vectra, that I have adapted to fit this engine. The new one only has two wires, B+ and the one from the ign\charge lamp, the stock justy one has three wires. Do I only connect the one that goes to the ign\charge light on the two wire GM one, and insulate the other one ? Btw, I have moved the belt pulley from the stock to the new alternator, so it should spin at the right rpm. Thank you in advance.

The light should be controlled through the gauge cluster, I would just hook that single wire up to key on power.

If all else fails I have an alternator for a carbureted engine.
