So I bought 91 manual , I was told the 4wd did not work. When I press the button nothing lights up on the dash, but I felt like the 4wd was working. So I jacked it up and Yup... she works great, but still no light? I checked the fuses in the cab and all were fine. Any thoughts?

I think the 4wd illumination is only done with 1 bulb, maybe it's just burnt out. If not I will try to dig up a wiring diagram and give you some lines to test, but either way get that gauge cluster out so you have access.

Look to see if the switch wiring did not get wrapped up on your drivers side CV. Mine did when the brackets holding the wiring gave way to rust and corrosion and let it fall. I still have no dash lights, but my 4x4 still works. I plan to hardwire the switch back later...
Mato393: it is small black thing on lower rear side of front doors, and it is connected to rear gate switch too

Machy_CZ: Hi, did anyone tried to cut down springs for lowering purposes ? I found here some lowered justy's, but no info huw much and where to cut the springs... Thanks
Jan 22, 2015 17:57:56 GMT -5
pinkshinyalan: I've cut springs on other cars before. You basically just need to look at how much you want to lower the car, and cut about that much off. Make sure you do the same amount on both sides. It's usually easiest to just count the number of coils.

pinkshinyalan: I don't know what the perches are like on the Justy, but it'll need to accept a spring that's cut. If both perches are flat, you'll need to find a way to support the cut coil spring.
