Help! I have a 1989 Justy 2wd automatic, the problem is when I put in in drive you have to floor it to get it to move, but it just barley creeps along, and it smells like a belts burning. I have checked the brushes and they were ok, they were covered in oil which I thought was odd but they were in good shape. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Mmm I had the same problem I think. My oil seal was leaking.. If I remember it right it was the oil seal on the shaft wich drives the (ecvt) oilpump.

I seem to have a similar problem - right down to the oil on the slip rings and brushes upon replacing them. Am I going to have to take the transmission out for a rebuild? Any tutorials or ideas on this topic?
