When you change ECVT fluid and drup the plug, you don't get all the oil out of the transmission? ( on a regular transmission you have to run it to clean all the old oil ) Do you have a way to empty everything on a ECVT or your replace just the oil that drup and put new oil with old one inside? ( first time that i have do it ) THANKS!

The ECVT doesn't have a torque converter like a conventional auto trans has so most all of the fluid drains out when you pull the plug. Make sure you purchase a good quality fluid rated for CVT style transmissions. I've been using the ENEOS brand CVT fluid for a few years now and it has worked great so far.

Yup, I just did the same, drop and fill. Used 3 qts of ENEOS CVT fluid.

Did you change the filter also each time? THANKS! It's not really a filter, more of a screen. It can just be rinsed and reused if there's chunks of metal in it. If you don't see any significant amount of debris in the drain oil I'd just go ahead and refill it and call it good.

I just changed my filter because I didn't know previous condition, good thing because quite a bit of stuff came out of it. New filter was $14 so it isn't a huge expense.
