My windows are filthy from the car sitting for many years. I want to get the windows tinted so this needs to be cleaned. How hard is it to remove the windows? Physically I know it is simple but on older parts they may not know they are supposed to be simple.

All your windows or..? The wing windows are fairly simple and straight forward. This is pretty much dependent on whether the screws want to come out or not. The door windows are simple to take out but you need to remove the door panel in order to access the two 10mm head bolts that secure the window to the regulator. Your windshield and back glass are not easy to take out, and in my experience as a "professional" car taker-aparter, unless you have an extra one handy you should probably get a glass shop to do the re/re. If you are still interested in removing the windshield or back glass I will need more information about your car.

hehe not on the major glass. I was interested in the wing and the doors. How would a pro do it?
I just want to justify the labor vs cost otherwise i will do it myself

A professional would not be cost effective for the wings and door glasses. They are easy to get out.

I meant how much would a glass proffesional charge to tint windows vs my attempting it for the first time. If they get stupid silly money for a few hours work, then i will give it a shot. How do they do it. Thanks
