Oh it's clear; clearly incorrect. Perhaps we will just have to agree to disagree. I think another concerned gentleman summed it up quite well and was more articulate than I in doing so. Please pay attention to the initial post in the link provisded below. forums.subdriven.com/zerothread?id=3661920Oh dear... That initial post is written by a fellow who seems to be as confused as you about this. His options do not make sense. This one by poster "feels_road" I think says it best in regards to the question at hand: Neither of your options. It refers to products that are endemic to a particular country, regardless of where produced. Some people belive the manufacturer must be of the country's origin, but that obviously makes little sense in today's global economy (e.g., the Volvos you can only buy in Sweden wouldn't count). For example, VW builds a total of 19 different engine/transmission configuration Jettas in Mexico that are primarily designed for the German market, and sold in most but not all European countries. None of these are available in the US. They are clearly German domestic market. Yet, they are not built in Germany. We can agree that you disagree, but that doesn't change the fact that you are incorrect. There are some good posts in the thread you linked which clearly illustrate this and say essentially what I was trying to say in different (possibly better) words. Cool. The thread also shows that a lot more people are confused about this than I would have thought! Raw Justyce - you are so right - serious thread drift!!! I believe it was started with SeattleJusty inserting an irrelevant and incorrect statement into the thread that - even if it would have been correct, it would not have been helpful. That is what happens when we forget which points are worth arguing and which ones are not. Haha... Happens a lot around here. Hopefully this can return to the subject of the Keke Designs Justy since it's a pretty cool car. I am also still very interested in those springs and am happy to ship mine over there! Cheers! ;D

We can agree that you disagree, but that doesn't change the fact that you are incorrect. ! Nice try Batman. The term UJDM Japanese domestic market (UJDM) is used to describe Japan's micro-economic market for Japanese-brand goods, chiefly automobiles and parts. A similar term, United States domestic market (USDM) is used for US-market, US-brand goods.United States Domestic Market Engines - These engines are original engines that are manufactured in the United States for the US market vehicles. And for the cherry on top To shed some light to those who do not have a clue, the term JDM which stands for Japanese domestic market is used to describe Japan's economic market for Japanese-brand goods. On the other hand, USDM or United States domestic market is used for US-market, US-brand goods. Basically, if something came from Japan, it falls under JDM. If something came from the US, it falls under USDM... so on and so forth. As simple as that is, some people still... have no clue.By the way, all of the above are clickable. Please click.

What's that? JDM? Typo? Annoyed that I ask? Get the point? stacks I am guessing that you didn't even bother to click the link before shooting off your post. I highly doubt that someone would typo when purchasing a URL. ujdm.com/ Maybe you should ask the author of the quoted text. I am not annoyed that you ask questions, Peter. It is one of the privileges your freedom of speech affords you.

since we already tracked mud all through nevada's threads i figure i might as well ask. I read the article and don't understand why he labeled it ujdm. what does the u stand for? i can only assume its some hybrid term designed to further confuse everyone on a moderately useless argument. in my mind there are cars made in japan( i call them japanese cars) and cars made in north america( i call them crap).

And yes, USDM means US made for US market just like JDM means Japanese made for Japanese market. . . stacks Thank you Stacks. SeattleJusty - I stopped posting in this thread in hopes that you would too. I sent you a PM instead of even making a new thread on the whole USDM trainwreck that you have started. Since I left you have posted 3 more times with more drivel unrelated to the thread. Since you cannot stop yourself, is there anyone here that can keep check on you? Maybe a buddy system of sorts? This recurring pattern of you de-railing threads with your pedantic attacks could possibly get annoying at some point. Now let this blow your mind: My 1993 USDM Subaru Justy DL was sold here in the US by a US company called Subaru of America, founded in 1968. Note: this US company, headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, markets and distributes vehicles produced by Fuji Heavy Industries, some of which are manufactured outside of the USA. Is there any chance you can stop this now? How about if I say please? You even have my permission to feel indirectly vindicated! The only thing you cannot do though is deny that my Justy is a USDM vehicle, or "correct" anyone in the future who uses this term to describe a US market vehicle or part regardless of where it was manufactured or any misunderstanding you may hold of such. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Admin: Is this acceptable behavior for a moderator? Can nevada have his thread back now? Seriously this is atrocious and cuts away at the enjoyment and usefulness of this site!!! That said, I know that I am just as guilty for disrupting this thread and will do my best to not take the bait in the future. I vote for a deletion of all of these posts so Nevada can have his thread back. My question regarding the swapping of the springs still stands!!!
