I would have to agree. The last picture with the seats the farthest back would be my vote as well. I must say I am super impressed with all your toys! Looks like you definitely know how to have some fun.. Also your dog is beautiful.. It's cool to see I'm not the only one to let my dogs help me work on cars Keep up the good work, I am eager to see how it ends up!

Those dogs are so talented. They seem to do a good job working on cars too.

Haha, great pictures! Very good looking. A boy and a girl? Are they border collies? Or what breed are they? How's the buggy coming along?

Haha, great pictures! Very good looking. A boy and a girl? Are they border collies? Or what breed are they? How's the buggy coming along? hi, yes border collies, man what a handfull, as you say brother and sister and they seem to be telepathic, they can out smart me already and they are only 12 months old ;D buggy is waiting for me to get some tube in to start making the roll cage, should have it on friday so might have some more progress during next week, while l was waiting for the tube l have cut the crossmember that mounts the steering rack back out l wanted to rotate the engine around the drive shafts so as the back of the gearbox came up to get the rear prop pointing up hill slightly but the crossmember was so close l could only move the gearbox 10mm, so out it came and the engine mounts had to come off as well

my tube turned up today so l couldent wait to get bending also had some plates cut for the top of the suspension struts, still playing with the shape at the moment, its all sort of "suck it and see" so l will try a few ideas/shapes out before l start cutting/welding and did you know that stuffed inside your prop shaft is a rolled up piece of card board ? no me niether but l found it when l cut my prop down to size

made a bit more progress, not having a definate plan when you start a project is probally not a good idea things keep changing in my head, decided to chop a bit more out of the wheel base today, sort of aiming for a 1200cc quad that you sit in instead of on strut tops are on and in the right place seats are sitting a bit high in this pic, think l will bring them down a bit been experimenting with some plastic tube l found in the workshop, l quite like the rolled look down the sides might get me some 2" tube rolled up

In the states its a useless and annoying parking light switch, but I don't think it says position on it so maybe it does something different in the UK.

thanks guys l did wonder if it was for parking lights as in an odd sort of way the word position could have meant "position" on the road, would have been a lot clearer to have just put "parking lights" l have no idea as to the durability of the cvt gearbox, but we will find out in due course ;D l do hope it holds up as the cvt is one of the main attractions of the justy for me, but l have a manual engine and box in the corner of the workshop and will leave room in the buggy for a clutch pedal, just in case Andy

yes l should have said l am going to fire it up shortly and as a temporary measure l will just bolt a silencer on to the exhaust manifold so as not to irritate the folk next door, l have had some exhaust header plates laser cut and will make a neat block hugging manifold for the finished job

Nice progress!
Do you think the rear driveshaft angle will be an issue? Not sure what that center U-joint will think of that?
Oh, your steering wheel is on the wrong side. Don't know if you noticed.

Don't know if you noticed. l am not expecting any issues from the centre uj's, l can lift them another 3" before they bind so l assume l am well with in thier limits, if you were to see a prop shaft on the back end of a range rover or a jeep at that angle you wouldent think it was unduly bad would you ?, time will tell and the steering wheel is on the RIGHT side if it was on the other side it would be on the left ;D but if it troubles you l have just re engineered the front end for you there does that look better ?
