In following with SJF tradition, the ONLY Rule you need to follow when posting here is to have RESPECT when posting on this site.
This means respecting the Moderators and your fellow Members alike...even respecting yourself (which is what it all comes down to really).
You all know what respect means and how to give it (and not give it), so your ability to continue to be a member of this site rests on your ability to follow this fairly loose guideline.
If you don't think you can follow this simple rule, then no one can help you. Not here and not in life. If you cant say it to someone's face, then you probably shouldn't post it. Hiding behind the curtain of the INTERNET isn't a valid excuse.
There will be a simple Three Strike Policy for this...
1st Infraction, your post(s) may be removed or modified and you will be asked by a Moderator to tone it down.
2nd Infraction, your post(s) will be removed and you will be given a Temp Ban. This will be at least 1 week and not more than 2 weeks, depending on your level of disrespect and how soon after your first infraction the 2nd happens. Then your account Ban is lifted. If you attempt to log onto the site through a Proxy or other methods and create another account during this time, you will immediately be perma-banned.
3rd Infraction,There will be a poll posted asking members to vote on either a 6 month ban or you will be perma banned. Simple...
Well...thats pretty much it. ONE rule...simple and easy. Same as before...this isn't going to be a Nazi Regime with modifying posts or banning users. Everything should flow along as it always has, and people should be who they are and true to themselves. This is your typical forum and it should continue to carry on that tradition. In the past few years though, unnecessary "trends" have been set that aren't good for the site or the members in the long term...its these small 'problems' we are trying to weed out.
Subaru Justy Forum has always been about creative, cost effective ways for everyone to be able to enjoy the satisfaction of maintaining your car. It also was about sharing this info with others. It doesn't matter what parts you use, how ugly it is or how fast it goes...what matters is that you did it yourself. The core group of people that started this site and those that remain here, I know believe in this still.
P.S. For the info of all members,The role of Moderator only allows for that person the following abilities:
-Move or remove topic
-Lock or Sticky topic
-Bump topic to the top without posting
-Modify words in anybody's post
- It does not give the ability to read or modify Personal Messages
