it all depends on where your[sic] from jerk cuz you spill the corona around here your[sic] likely to get shot Pipe down windbag. The only thing you shoot, is the shit. I don't even know what language that is, let alone what it means. By the way, what is an "ecomonomy"

I had a mustang once that had big fat rear tires that rubbed all the time. This is why they call me Macgyver.. I pulled the rear springs and welded a couple 1" spacers (made out of round stock) in between the middle coils. Sure enough it gave me the lift. I didn't notice the ride change at all. Just an idea if you're in a pinch. Cool car btw. I like how it's called a "Trendy". -Terry

heres the kicker: nobody cares about how big your wheels are.
the other day i bought a new set of standart tires. amazing. you just put them on and go for the next 50.000 miles. ignorance finishes first.

Touche!! The big wheels/tires just seem pointless on a Justy...unless you want a show car, but from a practical standpoint, keep it stock ...to each his own, I suppose...

I just wanted them because I thought it was a little more special and that they looked good, but I'm gonna go back to small boring ones again... There was a bunch of guys admiring (well at least it seemed like that ) my trendy today and wondered how the !#%! I got these wheels on

Well let's update, or should I say downdate? The hood got the great idea to go flying up when I was driving at around 110km/h. The hood is scrap, the windshield got more cracked then before, roof got beated up a little and the plate between hood and windshield got a little bad too. So now I have to try and find one of these damn rare cars here in sweden and get some new stuff, and have to drive a f*cking renault 5 in the meantime....grrrrrrrrrr

I have a hood, here in Canada.. Maybe even a cowl (the piece between the hood and windshield). Let me know if you need it shipped, it is somewhat rusty tho. -Terry

Fun Thread! ;D
Those guage faces came out killer! How are they holding up to the UV rays? What's new with the project...? Personally, I appreciate the tremendous improvements in traction since moving to 15" wheels with 195 widths. Then again, I am quite used to manual steering having never owned a power steering set-up!
Nippon!,

Nippon!, What do you mean with the UV rays? However I nowadays have 12" small tyres mounted on the car and searching for a hood. When I get it done I will probably lower it a little

Well so far the gauges are good, however they were made in a not to good printer so when it's dark the black background looks a little wierd, but it's nothing you think about

I must say that my Trendy gotta have some curse. My father has a lawnmower cart for moving around stuff, and it was standing up near the car, like for many many years......it fell down and smashed a rear light Replaced it with another one I found (light are no problem to find): I got myself some spare hood hinges from some scrapyard, but one of them was bended a little like the old ones I got :/ However I got it kinda right and now I can at least mount the hood, even if it looks like shit. Gonna buy another one, as soon as I find one. The handle for the back door has been broken since I bought the car, and I have been using a taped stick to get it open, no good solution I had a motor from a volvo 240 central locking system laying around and this is the result. Works perfect!! At last a nice picture just before changing tires back to small ones. It was right after this the hood got smashed.

Well it's what I call the "curse car". Last week I was driving around late and just wanted to play a little so I went pulling the e-brake, it went really nice but after 3 slides the brake pedal went to the bottom. The brakes had sliped of one of the brake cylinders in the rear, resulting in the piston going out and fluid pouring, and could only use the e-brake for one weel. Bought a new cylinder and it's running nice again.
I have ordered a hood that should come this week, unfortunately it has a little damage on it but it was the only hood I could find...

Yowsers... I feel your pain... Just redid my rear brakes... the Driver Side was a similar fluid contaminated mess . The shoes were pretty darn low but it didn't help that the last Bozo to do the rears used the top spring in place of the bottom... Also ultima, kindly explain what you mean by: "...I had a motor from a volvo 240 central locking system laying around and this is the result. Works perfect!!..." if you have a chance. Kanpai!,

Also ultima, kindly explain what you mean by: "...I had a motor from a volvo 240 central locking system laying around and this is the result. Works perfect!!..." if you have a chance. It's a little motor that pushes the locking pin up or down in all doors depending on what you do at the drivers door. It goes in or out depending on how you wire 12volt and ground to it, and I simply did so it pushes down the lock when you press a button, then when it's open I release the button and it can be closed again. I'm pretty good at writing english that's hard to understand, I know :/

Well it's been a while since this rolling curse have done something, so instead someone smashed up one of my headlights. Ordered one I found from a scrapyard across the country for around $89, so I'm really happy now.....NOT!!
