Hey guys,
Do any of you know if any of the body panels will work on a ford festiva? Any of the front/rear bumpers and side skirts? Im wondering if the Justy will be my answer for a car to get parts from to mod my festiva out. I have never seen a Justy in person so I dont know how close they compare. I have a 92 festiva if it helps. Also, how close are the swift and Justy to eachother, I saw online a spoiler that fit both of em.
Also what i the bolt pattern on the Justy, maybee I can find some wheels that will work for my car too.
Hum... Maybee I'll just buy a Justy, but untill then when I can actually find one for sale in california please help,
thanks

Body panels swaps? I really doubt it.
Bolt pattern I believe is 4x100.
Just buy a Justy. 4wd will kick the Festiva in the snow, but I guess that doesn't matter in Cali.

As most people think, Cali isnt just beaches and surfing, we get 12 feet of snow a year, and have 12 of the top 20 ski resorts in North america, so yes, the 4wd would make a difference depednign where in cali

Who rated those ski resorts? Our local hills have averages of up to 35ft of snow per year. Nice dry fluffy powder.... Mmmmmm..... And my Justy gets me there for the deeeeep days!

Wow, sure is a lot of arguing about snow in California going on here. Definative answer: No! The justy and the Festiva are not interchangable in any way at all. The wheel bolt pattern on the Justy is in fact, the uber common 4X100mm (thank god!) found on most compact cars these days. The bolt pattern on the Festiva is 4X114.3mm and you'll find the 12" wheels on the Swift/Metro will not fit either. Speaking of, the wing you saw for the Justy/Swift, is not for that sold in the U.S. After the last Justy sold in the U.S. in 1994, the Justy mutated into a Suzuki bodied car available in other markets outside of the U.S. These "Justy" cars are not Subaru at all. Think of a Geo Metro/Chevy Metro and that's what you've got. If you want a tricked out, ricer look with side skirts/valance/wing/air dam, then save yourself the trouble (and us Justy types the heartache) and get yourself a Mazda or Honda that has an after market for this stuff. It will be easier, cheaper and faster in the end than trying to Fast&Furious-ize your poor Festiva or Justy. If you do insist on making your Festiva go fast, there are support groups (web communities like this) out there for people that like to shoehorn in the Mazda B-series 1.6 (Mercury Tracer/Capri/323) and gearbox into the Festiva. Normally I do not post links to things non-Justy in this forum but this time I will. www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0401scc_hybrid/www.fordfestiva.com
