Very nice! they remind me a little of Empi 8-spokes you see on old vw bugs. What size are they? (Tires included)

Wheel Folks, A couple JUSTYheads recommended I share this post o'er here in 'wheels' section... was originally a rear fender mod post in the 4WD thread... -------------------------------------- Definitely! Go for it!
Bear with the project/in progress aesthetic.
After a bit of cutting, Datsun 210 race flares, and fiberglass- can now accomodate 195/50/15s with plenty of room to spare.
Just scored a set of steelies with 195/60/15 Blizzaks- trying to take advantage of the last few warm days to refurb/rustproof/color change them - will test the clearance soon and let you know.
Cross your fingers, because I'm hoping to run those for a bunch of studless class ice races this season!-------------------------------------- Shout me; Have a good weekend, #891989 Subaru JUSTY RS 4WD 124, 003 miles

Dude....I hope you never crunch your bumper because it looks like you'll never get it off without tearing up all that work you did on those flares.

;D Seattle - Heh.Heh. I worry a lil bit about that every ride... balances... I just couldn't get a good body line going without mating the two. Luckily? for me, all the SUVs on the road these days would probably knock the roof off first! Here's a pic of some of the muck that got cut off of the JUSTY prior to fitment: Cheers All, #891989 Subaru JUSTY RS 4WD 125, 099 miles

Well at any rate, it looks good. I want to see painted pix when it's all done. I have been thinking about pulling some wheel flares from a Rabbit and trying to fit them. I can't commit to the permanent graph like you did but I might need some flares after I switch to these wider VW rims I'll be using. More on that later. Long Island 'eh....I was just out there and damn, there are no Justys. The most Justys I have seen on the Eastern seaboard have been in Pennsylvania.

Thanks man, The highest JUSTY concentrations I've seen on the right-hand coast do seem to be Pennsylvania (and Connecticut). The temperatures are slowing my progress. A little more time and a little more $ ... you know the story. I'll try to at least get pics up of the 4 steel wheels and 70% Blizzacks I got ($100 everything)... also 15's. just finished refurbing and color changing 'em... no snow yet (good and bad )- but psyched! resurrection. Definitely share your progress on the wheel swap! Saw Dodge Omni flares of all things on some kooky 'Franken-car' one time... functioned and looked pretty darn good. Sometimes you see blow out discounts on front primed fenders of different makes... Best to everyone, #891989 Subaru JUSTY RS 4WD 125, 221 miles

Phewfff... A bit cold to change 4 wheels outside today... but they're on! 4 Bridgestone Blizzak 195/60/R15 Studless Snows... scored them for $100 USD (total) tires & wheels. Removing beginnings of rust and weather proofing/color changing from black took some effort, but just in time for forecast of snow-ice tonight! This combo is a bit tighter than the 50 series (about 1 3/4 inches taller). I'll be taking the unplowed backroads to work tomorrow! Wow, what are those wheels from? Are the wheel well openings on the Gen2 cars bigger than those on Gen1 cars?

S, They're off a BMW Mini! A fellow at the local NAPA parts store noticed the ebay '7 holes' (same application ) I was running with the Sumitomos, and basically said to me, "if you've got $100 bucks, I've got 4 steel wheels with snows." (He let the lease run out on his '04 Mini). Lucky Day. Now if I can ever get the paint up to their 'non-beater' rules, the AMEC Club ( www.icerace.com/) upstate runs a Bridgstone Blizzack Ice Race Series... that's been the plan with this beasty since day one! Good question on the Gen I, Gen II clearance?! Dunno for sure? I did, however, cut out a bunch of oxidized fender and splash guards... and then some. So did you take the unplowed roads to work? ? Got the most snow here of all winter, it's a blast rippin around in it. I think this is when my Justy "feels" the fastest, I love how it pulls in the snow, I've got studded winters on it, and it's a blast drifting around in this stuff....

Yes! took the back roads to work... The trip started off very somber though. 1/2 a mile from my home, as it just started to sleet/snow (on the main road of course) I saw THIS through my windshield : (NOTE: Traffic was at a stop when I snapped this and there was an EMT already on scene). As for the 15"s with Blizzaks, they hooked up almost TOO well!? In the few inches of snow on top of sleet that we did get, felt like it was dry warm pavement with the Z Sumitomos. 89 wow! That is some crazy shizzle. I have to say, I have driven cars all over America and in Australia too but the wackiest stuff I ever see is always East Coast. New York, Georgia, Florida, way crazier things and accidents than anything I see in California or Washington.

I believe they are an aftermarket steel rim made for a wide asortment of cars with the 100mm bolt pattern and front wheel drive. We get them at either Wal-Mart or Canadian-tire.
