So, I am attempting to find some wheels to mount a spare set of snow tires on.
I have a Gen 2 GL, so I'm shopping for 13's. BUT, any info on 12" compatability would be good too.
There's a lot of different wheels out there, which ones fit?
From this forum, I've learned the following:
From SeattleJusty:
For a 13X5" or 13X5.5" wheel to fit onto a Justy, it must have the following spec:
* Pitch circle diameter (bolt pattern) of 4X100mm
* Offset of no more than +35mm (a little less is ok too)
* A center bore of approximately 60mm
The actual size is 59.2mm but you may see it listed as 60mm
Most of the wheels you'll find out there will have a 57mm center bore and although it doesn't sound like much difference, I can tell you from junkyard experience that if a wheel with a hole 2mm too small is forced onto a Justy hub, it will probably never come off.
Besides the stock Justy GL 13's, the only known stock wheels in the US that you can slap onto a Justy straight away are some older 80's Nissan wheels from the early Sentra/Pulsar/NX.
***SJ: Is this the older 1st Gen B11 (1982-1986) or 2nd Gen B12 (1985-1990) Sentra? I've been calling around on craigslist!***
I heard rumor that in Europe there are Renault wheels that fit but I cannot confirm this. It is possible to have the hole machined larger so that you can fit other wheels. I had my VW wheels machined to fit my Gen1 Justy for $100
**SeattleJusty posted a PM about his ordeal of changing wheel studs to match appropriate thread pitch/size ball nuts to fit VW wheels with the ball seats. I can't find it though...**

Possible 13" Alloy Wheel:

Audi 4000 rims with radius ball seats modified to fit with adapter washers. Opinions on the adapter washers varies. Rims look great!
Any other sources for steel wheels that would work? If I can pick up some snows WITH a 4x100 bolt pattern (which are everywhere), and have the center bored cheap, that would be great too. Most people have 4 snows on rims in their garage from some car they used to have but sold, crashed, etc.
I'd love to get a set of Justy steelies as well, but they're a bit harder to find.
