...with our Justys. For instance, when I get my check on Thursday I plan on doing these things...to my Justy.
(in no particular order, should they be, the world will rejoice in peace throughout...)
Fix the hatch window/wiper blade issue(light only comes on when the wiper is going)
Fix the lack of back-up lights.
Fix my full-size spare, which has a construction nail in it, it is currently holding on my rear driver.
Fix the front driver, which has a construction nail in it, it is supposed to be the rear driver.
Fix the matching front driver, which has a construction nail in it(do you see the pattern?!) which is outside my house...
Replace the front passenger tire, which is almost bald. It is roughly 1,000 miles newer then the match. Which brings me to this, a month ago I went to Schwabbie's and asked them for a front realignment(35 or so clams). So they did. When all was said and done, the due said "Well, we did the rear too, but it was so bad we could not do anything..." I did not even wanna deal with that, so I said farcle it and went about my way. When I really looked at it when I parked a minute later, I realized that in addition to the rears being just fine, the front passenger was still balding and in near straight-up-and-down and front-to-back, while the front driver remained full-tread but had considerable toe-in(the top of the tire is leaning inwards, please correct me if I am wrong). Anywho.
Try and get those dents out of the passenger side of the car.
My wife got mad at something a long time ago and over-opened the driver's door...still works fine, but looks hideous.
Get a new muffler and cat.
Get that new window.
Fix or replace the whole windshield wiper fluid system. (since when I turn them on, the right won't work at all, and the left one is basically a male orgasm of blue fluid all over the windshield, a big jizz or 3 and then it dies off...)
Hopefully fix the dent in the hood.
Fix the entire front passenger area, which includes very minor body damage, that small amber light cover needs replaced, as well as straightening out the hood in proportion to the rest of the car...the headlight is also now turned up a little bit, very noticeable in the forest with the brights on; if I wanted to shine a light
Get that rear drivers seatbelt replaced.
Figure out a way to get some damn carpeting in there.
I need a new dash, I think...the gas gauge works great until I hit half a tank, then just drops. The temp gauge just one day stopped working, I looked and the needle seems die-hard on keeping itself way under the white barrier line; not to mention the speedo's needle is broke off(thanks to my wife/son).
Get that front windshield replaced(195 dollars).
There is still bits of glass that I could not get, I will have to take out the back seat(which is surprisingly easy to do) to get at that.
The driver's sunflap thingy, the little hook piece busted so now to keep it from obstruction my view, I have to somehow hook the tab in the space between the rear-view mirror and the headliner...very scary to do in traffic.)
Maybe to top it off, find a replacement headliner light cover.
And find out what clicks rapidly every 10 or so times I turn on the heat, sounds like a faint but very noticeable stiff pine needle against a computer fan.
I'm sure a few more things will hit me as soon as I turn that key OH YEAH maybe I can switch back to a regular ignition start instead of that push-button.
How about you guys?

but had considerable toe-in(the top of the tire is leaning inwards, please correct me if I am wrong). Your description sounds like camber. Toe-in would be pigeon toed, like a bird or an Olympic sprinter. Top side tire in (like a squatted out, low-rider) would be negative camber.

What have I told you about repeating crap?!?!?!
No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, that makes sense, thank you. I just want to know why the mis-cambered tire is totally fresh still while the other one is toast.

I need a new dash, I think...the gas gauge works great until I hit half a tank, then just drops. The temp gauge just one day stopped working, I looked and the needle seems die-hard on keeping itself way under the white barrier line..... If both guages went offline about the same time then I would fault the 12v regulator attached to the instrument cluster as it drives the reference voltage for both indicators. And it is a bitch to get to that instrument cluster. I am still manufacturing new LED lighting for all the indicators in my intrument cluster so I haven't pulled it yet. I did spend some time on a pick-lot trying to disassemble a dash for light sockets (and tach parts, that is the origonal reason I decided to go into the instrument cluster). If I salvage a spare voltage regulator I will send it on to you with a "you are going to hate this" procedure. And find out what clicks rapidly every 10 or so times I turn on the heat, sounds like a faint but very noticeable stiff pine needle against a computer fan. I had a some clatter + vibration + bad smell + almost no heat from the heater in my car. I found a friggin mouse nest in both the blower and across on the heater core. After dropping the blower fan out to clean it, the clatter and vibration were gone. After cleaning handfulls of nesting from the top of the heater box, the poor heat and smell went away. The fan was not that difficult to pull, I found that there is no screen between the outside and the blower assembly, meaning that leaves and all other kinds of crap can make it into the blower fan. -quoted you twice -haha take that! -RRJ

I actually don't really know how to quote yet, so I just copy and paste shit if I try and be specific about something.
Well, the gas gauge has always been that way, the heater gauge issue is about 2 months old.
And SJ.....I say, "uuurrrggg dammit, that's probably true".....it just LOOKS good, though dammit hahaha the driver is FAR worse then the passenger, it's so frickin' wierd!!
EDIT
Oh yeah. Amber destroyed the passenger window lever, so she ripped the driver's side one off a while ago, now it's us literally swithing them all the time to roll up and down the windows. Another bitch at drive-throughs.

My list In order of importance:
---Critical fixes--- -Front right hub (working with member **tbagg** for a hub) -Front right axle (have new axle already $64+$15 core from Baxter Auto) -Radiator is seeping coolant from many many small cracks that match the extrusion forming of the plastic in the upper radiator cap. I will get a whiff of coolant smell first stop off the freeway but no other time (even prolonged idling where the fan has come on will not show the leak). No surprise here, every plastic capped radiator I have ever had succumbed to this same fate (friggin' plastic capped radiators are not made to last, glycol will penetrate the plastic eventually). Metal capped radiators are prone to corrode, cost more to manufacture, but last twice as long. -oh well, find the best one I can and hope for the best. I have not had to add any coolant, but I check on it frequently. -Brake proportioning valve (seeping fluid from a crack in the valve body, I refill the master about once every two weeks).
---Non-critical needed fixes--- -That "blankety blank blank" fuel filler tube, I have replaced the kinked vent line and it still refuses to take fuel beyond a dribble without burping back fuel bubbles. Of course in Oregon state law prevents me from fueling the car myself, so I always get the highly educated genius of a minimum wage fueling professional to contort the nozzle to no avail (they usually give up and just let me fuel it). -The trans will pop out of first gear if I ease off the throttle. After replacing the top torque link on the engine and the shifter links, I found the problem is in the oil soaked and squishy lower engine mount (no active leak right now, PO must have let the shop re-use mount when replacing the old engine). With the engine off I can put the car in first gear, push-n-tug on the transmission and it pops out of gear. I am looking for a new lower mount. -Car will not downshift into second gear when the car is in motion, as soon as I reach a complete stop it will let me go into 2nd & 1st (I believe this to be a bad syncro shared by 2nd & 1st). I am looking for another gen2 4WD 5-speed transmission. -Missing a tumbler for the passenger-side door lock. -Tachometer sticks, I have just learned to believe it is always wrong and ignore it. -A number of illumination bulbs are out across the dash (I can see the speedometer at night). -Crack in windshield (still legally out of driver's field of view) that goes from the bottom mid-windshield over to the passenger side. -Only two of the traces of the rear defroster heat up, and not in a useful area of the window. -Rear bumper skin is sporting PO battle damage, and is torn away on the drivers side.
**imaginarius** this is my list. -RRJ

So after doing some more tinkering on my Justy today, and taking it for a spin around the block, when I got back to my house I was monitoring the idle and turned the heater on to see if it would change the idle at all and when I turned it on (full blast) a bunch of mouse nesting shot out from underneath the dash, and my heater blower stopped working.. When I grabbed a light, got under there, and pulled off the tube that goes from the blower to behind where the stereo sits, and I too found a humongous mouse nest. Looks like while my Justy was sitting in my garage out of commission, it took on the home of some damn mice. Gonna clean it all out tomorrow, but I'm hoping that the fan is just stuck and I can clean the blower out so it works again, and it didn't get fried.. Otherwise looks like I'll be on the look out for a new heater blower.. farcleing rodents! Haha oh well, I'm glad to see my Justy hasn't been the only mouse motel.

Look at my thread on the exhaust system. the cats are available, the mid pipe is sort of available. the facotory one is one pipe, the "direct replacement" is not (does not reach the enigine) nor is the replacement engine pipe available. Looks like i am stuck going to a muffler shop.
The muffler is available.
Wheels should have been aligned with new tires, and the shop should have said that they shouldnt do it with bald tires, that was the first red flag. Second is a 4 wheel alignment for 35.00 ! Why do i get the feeling they didnt do anything,
