hey where is the thermostat on a 91 mpfi and do I need to check it? my temp gauge only goes up a little very little, I know the moter has to be hot because I drove for about an hour ,and when I stopped for fuel and checked the oil ,I noticed the radiator is not hot at all it is just warm to the touch ,I can take the rad cap off and it is not hot at all just warm, please help me figure out this problem! thanks! UPDATE: I changed the thermostat checked for leaks [no leaks] I took it for a drive and the temp gauge went to halfway and then back down to like 1/4 or lower ,but the radiator got hotter than before I changed it , is this normal operating temp for a justy 1/4 area? it is about 38 degrees today so not real cold, should the temp gauge be at the half way mark for normal operating temp??? thanks for the help

Thermostat is located toward the bottom, right side of the engine....below the exhaust manifold, by the radiator. I'd start there, as this sounds like a thermostat issue.
good luck, Adam
